ROSEWOOD RIVERSIDE TOWN HOMES

Project Description:
The Rosewood Riverside Town Homes were developed by Rosewood Housing Development Corporation. Construction on the 39-unit complex began in June 2004 and was completed in August 2005. The affordable unit project requires that resident’s income be 60 percent of the medium income in the area. The development is currently leased with a waiting list. The development is being built on property adjacent to the Flint River between Grand Traverse Street and Mason Street in the Carriage Town Historical Neighborhood. The $5.7 million project will include twenty-four 2-bedroom unit and fifteen 3 bedroom units will be available.

The What's UP Downtown Community Engagement Project is a marketing initiative funded by the Ruth Mott Foundation and managed by Uptown Reinvestment Corporation to increase the awareness of downtown development efforts, events and businesses.
