Classic Tailor Project
641 S. Saginaw Street in Downtown Flint

Description of Project:
The former Classic Tailor building located in the 600 block of Downtown Flint is being renovated into a mixed-use structure with commercial space on the first floor, offices on the second floor, and residential space in a new third floor area to be built at the rear end of the building. In addition, plans are in the works for the vacant lot next door which was originally the Grinnell Bros. music store before it was destroyed by fire 40 years ago. The Classic Tailor shop was closed 20 years ago.

The project is expected to be complete in February 2008.
