COMMUNITY FOUNDATION LOFT APARTMENTS
Located at the southwest corner of First and South Saginaw Streets. 

Description of Project:
This $2 million project mixed-use development project is expected to be complete in 2008. The Community Foundation of Greater Flint will be housed on the second floor with a potential restaurant and/or bar on the main floor. The third level will consist of approximately two 1,300 square foot loft apartments.

The building was the former home for Dales Health Foods and Bakers Drug Store. The building is located within several redevelopment projects currently under construction which will also offer loft apartments. The First Street Loft project was completed in 2006 while plans are in progress to revitalize the Buckham Alley located directly behind the Community Foundation Building into an entertainment district of restaurants, nightclubs and bars.
